A última faixa do álbum de estreia britânico dos Stone Roses, “I Am the Resurrection”, termina com quatro minutos de solo instrumental que muitos fãs consideram um marco da experimentação sonora da banda.
O single foi lançado em 30 de março de 1992 e alcançou o número 33 na parada de singles do Reino Unido, demonstrando que mesmo em meio a conflitos internos, a música ainda capturava a atenção do público.
Apesar de sua popularidade, “I Am the Resurrection” foi o segundo de apenas dois singles retirados do álbum enquanto a banda estava em desacordo com a gravadora Silvertone.
As cópias físicas deste single já não são mais produzidas, transformando a gravação em um item raro e altamente cobiçado entre colecionadores de música britânica dos anos 90.
