O single “Caught by the Fuzz” foi lançado em outubro de 1994 pela gravadora Parlophone, marcando o início da carreira internacional da banda britânica Supergrass.
A composição foi escrita em conjunto pelos três integrantes da banda – Gaz Coombes, Danny Goffey e Mick Quinn – refletindo o espírito colaborativo típico do Britpop da época.
O processo de gravação contou com os produtores Sam Williams e John Cornfield, que ajudaram a moldar o som distinto e energético que caracterizou o álbum *I Should Coco*.
