Nico foi a primeira artista a gravar “These Days” para lançamento, em seu álbum *Chelsea Girl* (outubro de 1967).
A versão de Nico apresenta um ritmo rápido e um trecho de guitarra acústica “sintética” de tom elétrico, sugerido pelo artista Andy Warhol.
