Black Skinhead foi produzida por Kanye West em parceria com o duo eletrônico Daft Punk, marcando uma colaboração entre hip‑hop e música eletrônica.
A faixa estreou ao vivo no Saturday Night Live em maio de 2013, onde West se apresentava diante de um fundo projetado, antes mesmo do lançamento oficial do álbum Yeezus.
