Em 1991, Public Enemy gravou uma versão de “Bring the Noise” em colaboração com a banda de thrash metal Anthrax, sendo incluída no álbum Attack of the Killer B's e no próprio álbum Apocalypse 91...The Enemy Strikes Black.
Chuck D admitiu que, ao primeiro pedido da Anthrax, não os levava "completamente a sério", mas após a gravação percebeu que "ficou com muito sentido".
